General Admission will welcome sports fans in southwest Las Vegas with a fall opening at UnCommons, Matter Real Estate Group’s highly-anticipated $400 million, 40-acre mixed-use community. The elevated sports lounge will combine electrifying live entertainment, a chef-driven menu, thrilling events and sports viewing within an upscale atmosphere.
General Admission will feature 180 seats within 4,650 square feet of chic dining, bar, and lounge space, plus 1,900 square feet of patio space. With more than 30 televisions throughout the venue ranging from 55-inch to 98-inch, a 40-foot-long bar, plus firepits and skills gaming on the patio, General Admission will offer an elevated experience that redefines the standard expectations of a sports bar.
“General Admission will unite the interrelated worlds of modern hospitality and sports viewing to provide a best-in-class experience for Las Vegas locals,” said Bryan Whitford, co-owner and managing partner of General Admission. “We’re dedicated to redefining the standard of what it means to be an off-Strip sports bar and showing guests don’t have to make sacrifices through high-quality experiences rich in detail and originality.”
Conceptualized by Los Angeles-based brothers Kamran and Kourosh Pourkazemi and brought to southern Nevada by Whitford, a Las Vegas hospitality veteran, the upscale sports venue will embrace classic sports bar fare with a highly curated, chef-driven approach to its menu. The lounge will serve tapas-style appetizers, fresh seafood, dry-aged steaks, traditional dessert items, and a vast draft beer, whiskey, and tequila selection.
“As the home to DraftKings’ Las Vegas headquarters we sought to bring in a concept that redefines what it means to be a sports bar,” said Matter Real Estate Group Partner Jim Stuart. “General Admission will more than deliver as a destination that enhances the sports viewing, drinking and dining experience through chef-driven cuisine, a fun, highly social vibe and a packed entertainment lineup.”
UnCommons will reimagine the workplace experience with market-leading design and technology, floor-to-ceiling windows that welcome daylight and views of the natural Las Vegas surroundings, breakout spaces for individual work or small group collaboration. The campus will set the foundation for a thriving, inspiring workplace by bringing together multiple fitness studios, common open-air areas, contemporary residential units, and a mélange of food and beverage options. Future phases will bring UnCommons to more than 500,000 square feet of modern office space built with distinctive architectural features, the latest safety innovations, and a conference center that can host small meetings and workshops.
